Whole-home repipe

Metro Atlanta · Since 2007

Most plumbers stop at the pipes. We see it through to the paint.

Polybutylene, failing PEX, copper pinhole leaks, or a repipe flag on an inspection — we replace the whole system and put your home back together. One crew, one fixed price, one point of accountability. When we leave, it looks like we were never there.
One team handles the entire job — pipes, drywall, ceiling texture, and paint.
Fixed price covers everything. No add-ons after the work starts.
Your water is back on every evening. Most homes done in days, not weeks.

Thousands of Atlanta homes repiped
Up to 30-year manufacturer warranty

Specialists, not generalists

Repipe is all we do — every day, across Metro Atlanta

A general plumber repipes a few times a year, between water heaters and drain clears. We repipe homes every single day, with in-house crews who've done it thousands of times. That repetition shows up in the drywall, the schedule, and whether your home looks like a job site or a finished home when we leave.
A general plumber

Repiping as a side job

One service among many
Can install new supply lines
Open walls and ceilings left for you
Drywall & paint handed to a sub you schedule
You manage the plumber, the drywaller, the painter

When the plumber stops at the pipes, you become the general contractor — finding a crew, waiting on availability, and paying a second bill that never showed on the first quote.

Plumbing Express

Whole-home repipe specialists

One team, start to finished walls
New supply lines throughout the home
Drywall repair at every access point
Ceiling texture restored, paint blended
One in-house W-2 crew, one point of contact

One contractor handles the whole job. You don’t coordinate trades or chase painters. You get your home back finished — not a project.

Is your home a candidate?

Most repipes start with one of these five situations

A whole-home repipe isn't something most people plan years ahead. There's usually a trigger. For the Atlanta homeowners we work with, it's almost always one of these.

You have polybutylene pipe

Gray plastic pipe installed in Atlanta homes from 1978–1995, stamped PB2110 or “Qest.” The question isn't whether it fails — it's whether you replace it on your terms or with water running down a ceiling.
Replace it before it fails

Older PEX that's failing

Certain PEX systems installed roughly 2005–2020 have a documented failure history — pinhole leaks and cracking long before they should. If you're seeing unexplained leaks, the pipe itself may be the problem.
The pipe, not the install

Recurring copper pinhole leaks

One copper leak is a repair. Two is a pattern. By the third, you're patching a system failing systemically. Repiping costs less — in dollars and disruption — than opening walls one leak at a time.
Stop patching, start over

Recurring slab leaks

Multiple slab leaks mean the pipe under your foundation is failing. We reroute new supply lines above the slab through walls and ceilings, bypassing the failing pipe entirely. No next leak to have.
Reroute above the slab

A real estate transaction

A repipe flag — especially polybutylene or failing PEX — can kill a deal or force a price negotiation. We turn inspection flags into resolved line items and coordinate pay-at-closing for qualifying transactions.
Close the deal, not a credit

We don't stop at the pipes

One quoted price covers the whole job — start to finished walls

“Turn-key” gets used loosely in the trades. To us it means one thing: we don't hand you a phone book when the pipes are done. Every line below is already in our number.
All new hot & cold supply lines
PEX-A, CPVC, or copper — your choice
Drywall repair at every opening
Paint blended at all patched areas
Up to 30-year manufacturer warranty
One fixed-price quote
New angle stops & shut-off valves
Pressure test & system inspection
Ceiling texture restored to match
Water restored each evening
Daily cleanup & debris removal
One point of accountability

A note on paint: we blend to match the surrounding surfaces at every opening — we don’t repaint whole rooms. When original paint is available the match is excellent, even without paint codes. If a finish is hard to match, your estimator tells you up front.

What to expect

How a Plumbing Express whole-home repipe works

Four phases, one crew, one schedule. Most single-family homes are repiped in a few days, with restoration following right behind.
1

Quote & planning

We assess your pipe system, square footage, and layout, then give you a fixed-price quote covering pipe, drywall, texture, and paint. The number doesn't change.
2

Pipe replacement

Our crew opens access points and installs new supply lines. Cut-outs are numbered and staged for reassembly. Water pressure is restored to your home each evening.
3

Pressure test & inspection

Before any wall is closed, we pressure-test the full system and walk it thoroughly. Nothing gets patched until the plumbing is confirmed complete and correct.
4

Restoration

Drywall is patched, ceiling textures matched, and paint blended at every opening — by the same team, from the same scope. No handoff to a separate contractor.
A repipe doesn't mean a week without running water. Our crews work in phases so your home is functional every night.

Why homeowners switch to us

The plumbers who do the whole job

Sellers repiping before listing, buyers requiring it to close, and homeowners replacing polybutylene before it fails — they call us because one crew handles pipes, drywall, and paint, and the quote holds.
“They repiped my entire home and handled all the drywall repair and repainting afterward. When they were finished, it honestly looked like they had never been there — everything was spotless and perfectly restored.”

“Their price was fair and it's one price for the whole job. You won't have to find someone to repair and paint drywall — they have their own people, so your house looks perfect when they finish.”
“I got quotes from 4 different plumbers for replacing PB pipe, and Plumbing Express was by far the most knowledgeable. Price was hard to beat, especially with the drywall repair included. The repair was seamless.”
“They are not pulling subcontractors but using their own W-2, well-trained employees. What a difference this makes! The crew got the repiping done in one day, then the drywall and painting was meticulous.”

Straight answers

Common repipe questions, answered.

Most single-family home repipes in Metro Atlanta cost between $8,500 and $14,000. The final price depends on home size, pipe material, and restoration complexity. We provide fixed-price quotes that cover everything — pipe, drywall, texture, and paint — with no add-ons after the fact.

Most single-family homes take 2 to 4 days for pipe replacement, plus 1 to 2 additional days for full drywall and paint restoration. Your water is on each evening throughout the project.

Not typically. Most homeowners stay in their homes throughout the job. We work systematically through the house and restore water pressure each day before we leave.

Any home with polybutylene pipe, aging copper with a recurring leak history, or certain older PEX systems with documented failures is a strong candidate. The best way to know is a free quote walkthrough — we assess the system and give you a clear picture of what you’re working with.

Most single-family homes take 2 to 4 days for pipe replacement, plus 1 to 2 additional days for full drywall and paint restoration. Your water is on each evening throughout the project.

You can, but expect it to come up during inspection. Most buyers and lenders in Metro Atlanta flag polybutylene as a material concern. A completed repipe with documentation removes the issue from the transaction entirely.

Both are proven replacement materials for Metro Atlanta homes. PEX-A (Uponor) is flexible, freeze-resistant, and carries a 25-year warranty. FlowGuard Gold CPVC is rigid, code-approved, and carries a 30-year warranty. We install both and walk you through the trade-offs for your specific home during the estimate.

Yes. Every estimate is fixed-price and covers the full scope — pipe, drywall, texture, and paint. The number on your quote is the number on your final invoice. We don’t add scope after the fact without your written approval first.
